01Where we are

INERTIA got made. Our 60 minute festival cut premiered to a ticketed audience here in San Antonio. It won Best Film at the Austin Spotlight Film Festival in September. Now we're working to finish it as a full length feature.

Your gift is tax deductible through our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, From the Heart Productions.

02Why we need it

Help bring the next version of INERTIA to life.

60minutes now
80minutes, the goal

Our fundraising goal is $35,000 to $45,000 to help cover additional filming, post production and delivery. Jackson has written the new scenes, and we're working through the shoot plan and finishing budget. The final scope and schedule will depend on funding and confirmed costs.

Why we made it

One in four children in America is growing up without a father in the home.

U.S. Census Bureau

For a lot of boys, that means nobody ever shows them how to tie a tie or change a tire.

That statistic has stayed with me throughout the making of this film, because the story is deeply rooted in my own experiences with family.

Jackson Kibby, writer and director
